TRANSFORMATION INTO HEAVEN

Grandma was an inspiration to us all. Her graciousness, generosity and smile will never be forgotten and she will live in our hearts forever. I LOVE to picture her in Heaven and I just have this gut feeling that she is happy and rejoicing that she is finally FREE and ageless and without pain and sorrow. However, I can’t say that I will ever be fully “okay” with her not being here with us BUT I do know she would want us to carry on the acts of kindness and the law of reciprocation. She wouldn’t want us to wallow in self-pity, grieve for her or wish our life away.

So today on her 2nd year anniversary of her transformation into Heaven, I am going to write down words that describe her: faithful, calm, peaceful, humble, strong, challenging, intelligent, compassionate, beautiful, and wise.

I will always value Grandma’s legacy. She gave us all the introduction that would lead us to eternal life, if we simply asked for it. Thousands will go to Heaven because of her decision to spread the gospel. Some day we all will see how God has rewarded her in Heaven for all her work here on earth. It is and, I suspect always will be, a challenge to live up to the standard that Grandma set for us, as her family and those around her, but I truly believe when our work is done here on earth, God will exclaim “Well done my good and faithful servant!” And I will have my Grandmother to thank.

So in closing, I will say thank you GOD for Grandma - she changed the course of my life for eternity and for generations to come. She never gave up on any of us even when we lost our way and I believe her prayers kept us protected and lead us back to the right path. Grandma once told me that this was the scripture she based her life on “..but seek first His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33

PRAYERS NEEDED NOW

This is the latest on Jonnae Taylor. Please lift the entire Taylor Family up in prayers.

I am posting a picture of Denise, the mighty faithful warrior (and Mother to Jonnae) and one of Jonnae so you can see how beautiful this girl is! :)

Results not what we had hoped for the doctors have given us the results. They feel whether we proceed with chemo or not, the end is near. The toxicity in her body has taken it's toll, we can risk her organs to try and get her into remission with more chemo, but it would be half the dose and not likely to do much to this determined disease. We have done that twice already and it has come back, so they don't believe we should go that route, but rather try and provide her with some quality days, possibly a few at home.

Alot of decisions to be made. How we tell the kids at home. How much we tell Jonnae. How much of the decisions we give to her (with her current state being where she's clear and then where she's lost) Do we let them help with her care here or do we enlist hospice for home. My body feels extremely heavy. Like I pumping something through my veins rather than blood. Possibly like energy is draining from me, as life drains out of her.

I really don't have much else to say at the moment. Alot to process, but I will give you a second update tonight. Things may be a bit clearer then.

Denise

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.

You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it is harder every time.

You will break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.

You will fight with your best friend.

You will blame a new love for things an old one did.

You will cry because time is passing too fast, and you will eventually lose someone you love.

So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you have never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you will never get back.

Do not be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.

I WANT TO BE A _______ WHEN I GROW UP! ;)

With the pressures of daily life, do any of us really have time to think about our dreams? Do we even know what our dreams are? If you ask a child what their dreams are, they will tell you. What do you want to be when you grow up? It is always such and easy answer for them. But once we do grow up, then what? Is is too late for us?

What if we never realized, that we might have been forgetting to follow our dreams? Worse than that, what if we thought we were following our dreams, but it turned out that we were living a nightmare? Then what? Is it too late? Do we get a second chance at our dreams?

When is it too late to follow your dreams? I would like to believe the answer to that question is never. I think our dreams are ever changing, and ever evolving, just as our lives are. I think that it is okay not to be exactly sure what our dreams are, and it is also okay if our dreams change from time to time. The only thing that is not okay, is to give-up on our dreams. Because, once you give-up your dreams, you lose hope for your future.

But why then, do so many people give-up or deny their dreams? That is an easy one to answer…..They give up because they are afraid, afraid of failure. Fear is what stops us from following our dreams. Fear is the darkness that casts a shadow over our light. And, fear is what we need to overcome if we want to reach for our dreams. Fear has stopped me many times in pursuing my dreams!

The most important thing to remember is this……never let go of your hopes and dreams, even when you are not sure what they are. So, take some time to figure out what your greatest dreams are, and then walk confidently towards them, without fear.

I intend on fulfilling my dreams, even if I do hit a few detours along the way! :)

WELCOME TO WHEREVER YOU ARE

Talent is not something that everyone understands. Talent used to be a unit of measurement and it refers now to a gift or unique characteristic that a person has. In a society so in love with individuality, why is it that so many people don`t feel special or like the fact that they have talent. Why is it that a lot of people that are special in one way or another strive so hard to just be normal?

For some reason this song has touched me deeply. Maybe it is because I believe that each of us have a unique gift and have lots to share with the world. So no matter where you are at in this point in your life, God loves you and you ARE a gift from God!!! Share your talents, your blessings and your love with each other! :)

Maybe we're all different But we're still the same
We all got the blood of Eden running through our veins
I know sometimes it is hard for you to see
Your caught between just who you are and who you want to be
If you feel alone and lost and need a friend
Remember every new beginning is some beginning's end

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you got to believe
That right here right now you are exactly where you are supposed to be
Welcome to wherever you are

When everybody's in and you're left out
And you feel are drowning in a shadow of the doubt
Everyone's a miracle in their own way
Just listen to yourself not what other people say
When it seems you are lost alone and feeling down
Remember everybody's different, just take a look around

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you got to believe
That right here right now you are exactly where you are supposed to be
Be who you want to be, be who you are
Everyone's a hero, everyone's a star
When you want to give up and your heart's about to break
Remember that you are perfect, God's make no mistakes

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you got to believe
That right here right now you're exactly where you're supposed to be
Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far (I say welcome)
Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far (welcome)(Bon Jovi)
